Dust Collectors

A Dust Collector is a type of air pollution control device commonly used in industries with high concentrations of dust, such as cement manufacturing, automotive component production, pharmaceutical manufacturing, food processing, metal grinding and polishing industries, metal melting furnaces, and more. It is a device that separates particulate matter from the air.

Air contaminated with dust, smoke, and fumes, which contain particles larger than the filter fabric, will be filtered on the outside of the filter bag. Meanwhile, the air that passes through the filtration will seep into the filter bag before being released from the dust collector into a high-powered suction fan, allowing the clean, filtered air to be released into the atmosphere.

When in operation, there will be accumulation on the filter fabric, which necessitates cleaning during the operation of the dust collector. This is done by using compressed air, which is shot through a nozzle into the filter bag to clean the dust that has adhered to the outside of the bag, causing it to fall to the bottom of the dust collector. The cleaned air is then discharged from the dust collector using a rotary air lock or dust bin, depending on the specific production process.
